I LOVE ALL THNGS HAND MADE
I love all things hand made. I have been making things all my life. When it came to my latest obsession, soap making, selling my creations was the only viable solution to the overwhelming stock I was creating. Hence, Wenona Lake was born.
Wenona Lake is north of Toronto and east of Haliburton, Ontario. A small lake created by glacier melt, full of wonderful summer memories.
My mission is to clean your skin with handcrafted small batch, brightly coloured artisan soap. Due to our harsh climate in the GTA, I also strive to moisturize.
All my soaps use colour to brighten your bathroom and your mood. Designs are vibrant, lively, and sparkly – colour combinations to suit everyone. Scents are not overpowering. I believe we should enjoy the scents in our lives without inflicting them on others.

MY SOAP
IS GENTLE ON YOUR SKIN!
Glycerin is an organic compound; a sugar produced from plant oils, typically palm oil, soy, or coconut. It is a clear, odourless liquid at room temperature and has a sweet taste. There is no animal fat in my soap so it is vegan friendly too.
Commercial soapmakers use glycerin in their more profit-producing lotions and creams, not their soap Their soaps are really just detergent bars - hard and drying on the skin. Wenona Lake soap has extra glycerin added to it to make it more moisturizing and gentle on sensitive skin.
The high glycerin content also means that the soap will dissolve more rapidly in water than harder, dryer soap with less glycerin. Keep it dry between uses. This downside, however, is more than compensated by the emollient, skin loving and gentle nature of the soap. Give it a try!
SOAP BASE INGREDIENTS
aqua, vegetable glycerin, sodium stearate, propylene glycol, sorbitol, sodium laurate, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium chloride, stearic acid, lauric acid, pentasodium pentetate, tetrasodium etidronate.
All soap bars average 120g
